Larry Wayne Parks

Larry Wayne Parks, 75, of Benton, Kentucky passed away on Monday, September 7, 2026 at his residence.

He was born on Friday, November 24, 1950 in Cypress, Illinois to Sarah Mae Adams Parks and Robert Wayne Parks. Larry was a dedicated owner to his business, which he ran alongside his wife. You never really knew what hobby Larry would be working on next as he loved to tinker.

He survived by his four daughters, Deanna Bennett of Calvert City, Marie Williamson of Benton, Lisa Berkley of Benton, and Amye LaVerdei of Benton; six grandchildren, Shanae Cervantes, Lindsey Camara, Ozzy Woofen, Nicole Vinson, Ashley Vinson, and Jacob Vinson; five great grandchildren, Greyson Hager, Wade Hager, Millie Camara, Bruce Camara, and Zoey Hyatte.

Larry was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Billie June Pace Parks, as well as his parents.

A visitation will be held from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM on Saturday, September 12, 2026 at Collier Funeral Home.

A funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, September 12, 2026 at Collier Funeral Home. Bro. Joel Frizzell will be officiating. Burial will follow in Peck Cemetery.
