Linda "Jeane" Smith

Linda  "Jeane" Smith, 74 of Benton, Kentucky passed away on Monday, June 22, 2026, at Baptist Health in Paducah, Kentucky.

Born Saturday, November 3, 1951 in Ivanhoe, Virginia , she was the daughter of the late Harold Barker and the late Gladys Pearman Barker. Jeane was the business manager for Medical Accounts Receivable.

Surviving are her husband, James R. Smith; her son, Richard Smith of Benton, KY; and her daughter, Melinda Smith of Benton, KY.

She was preceded in death  by her brother, Belford Barker, and her sister, Brenda Baker.
