Marlene E. Travis

Mrs. Marlene E. Travis, age 92 of Calvert City, Kentucky passed away on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, at Calvert City Convalescent Center in Calvert City, Kentucky.  She was a member of Calvert City Church of Christ.  She retired from Pennwalt/Arkema where she worked as a Secretary.

Born Sunday, April 1, 1934 in Calvert City, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Robert Madden and the late Minnie (Dunn) Madden. 

Surviving are her husband, Jackie Travis of Calvert City, KY, son, Wayne Travis of Paducah, KY, daughter, Wava Hall (Gayle) of Calvert City, KY, grandchildren, Marshall Hall (Julie) and Devin Hall (Whitney) and 6 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Robert Madden and Marvin Madden, and sister, Lorene Krueger.

A Funeral service will be held at 11:30 AM on Saturday, April 25, 2026 at Calvert City Church of Christ with Lance Cordle officiating. 

Interment will follow in the Marshall Co. Memory Gardens, Benton, KY.

Visitation will be held between 10:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 25, 2026 at Calvert City Church of Christ.
