Mathis T. Lambert, Jr.

Mathis T. Lambert, Jr., 84 of Smithland, Kentucky passed away on Saturday, June 28, 2025 at Mercy Health - Lourdes Hospital in Paducah, Kentucky.


Mathis was born in Pensacola, Florida on June 14, 1941 to the late Mathis T. Lambert, Sr. and Gladys Sunday Lambert.  He worked for over 30 years at Air Products & Chemical.  Mathis enjoyed spending time hunting, fishing and golfing.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Kay Armstrong Lambert of Smithland, KY; son, David Lambert of Calvert City, KY; two sisters, Jeanette Carnley (Hilary) of Columbus, GA and Marsha Chase of Pensacola, FL.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A private graveside service will be held at Calvert City Cemetery.
