Michael "Mike" Jones

Michael "Mike" Wayne Jones, Sr., 60 of Vienna, Illinois passed away on Saturday, December 2, 2023 at SIH Herrin Hospital in Herrin, Illinois.

Mike was born in Murray, Kentucky on February 14, 1963 to the late Max Jones and Sue Higgins Jones. He enjoyed playing guitar and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife, Elsie Crecelius Jones of Vienna, IL; one son, Michael Wayne Jones, Jr. of Hobert, IN; three daughters, Amanda King (Jeremy) of Calvert City, KY, Cali Jones of Benton, KY and Angel Jones of Calvert City, KY; one brother, Richard Jones (Kimberly) of Portage, IN; one sister, Jennifer Jones of Benton, KY; three nephews, Alex Jones, Christopher Miller and Jacob York; and one grandson he adored, Parker King.

A private family graveside service at Briensburg Cemetery will be held at a later date.

Collier Funeral Home and Cremation Services are in charge of arrangements.
