Morris "Ray" Bell

Morris Ray Bell, 85 of Paducah, Kentucky passed away on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at Livingston Hospital in Salem, Kentucky.

Born Sunday, October 1, 1939 in Benton, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Hubert Bell and the late Irene Collier Bell. Ray was a retired chemist at B.F. Goodrich plant in Calvert City. Ray was a fan of drag racing and had a love of old cars. Most of all, he was a gentle person and was kind to everyone he met.

He is survived by his niece, Donna Owen of Murray, KY; his special friend, Diane Calhoun of Ledbetter, KY; brother-in-law,  Bro. Jimmy Owen of Murray, KY; granddaughter, Emily Ray Lagunas and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his daughter, Lauri Kym Gentry, and sisters, Glenda Oliver and Anna  Mae Owen.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 30, 2025 at 12:00 pm at Collier Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jimmy Owen officiating.

Burial to follow with Military Rites at Oak Level Cemetery.
