Randy Jay Sauders

Randy Jay Sauders, 62 of Benton, Kentucky passed away on Wednesday, September 17, 2025 at Murray-Calloway Co. Hospital.

Randy was born in Amarillo, Texas on September 9, 1963 to the late James Sauders and Thelma Armstrong Sauders.  He was a jack-of-all-trades and could fix anything that was broke.  Randy was an outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing, camping and making homemade ice cream.  He will be remembered as being a jokester who could always make you laugh.   

He is survived by are his daughter, Tanya Long, husband, Bobby of Hardin, KY; son, Thomas Sauders, wife, Trisha of Calvert City, KY; brothers, Terry Sauders, Chet Sauders and Kris Sauders; nine grandchildren, Harlin Sauders, Braxton Long, Randalyn Long, Cooper Sauders, Nora Sauders, Adylen Borders, Layla Borders, Belle Long, Kady Long; three great-grandchildren, Camden, Cohen, Zakai; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews.

He was preceded in death by brother, Dennis Sauders; and his parents.

Collier Funeral Home & Cremation Services are handling the arrangements.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
