Richard French

Mr. Richard Paul French, 55 of Benton, Kentucky, died Wednesday, April 27th, 2022 at the Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center in Paducah, Kentucky.

Mr. French was born in San Diego, California, on September 24th, 1966.   He was a 1984 graduate of Marshall  County High School and a retired field environmentalist.

He is survived by his wife, Judy (Mitchuson) French; his father, Gary Mitchuson, Hardin, Kentucky; two brothers, Jamie French, Benton, Kentucky, and Shawn (Sachiko) Mitchuson, Akron, Ohio; one sister, Stephanie French, Hardin, Kentucky; one nice, Danielle French; and one nephew, Matthew French.

Mr. French was preceded in death by his mother, Susan (Mayfield) Mitchuson; and one sister, Lois French.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Saturday, April 30th, 2022 at Collier Funeral Home, 211 West Fifth Street, Benton, Kentucky.   The Rev. Alan Miller will officiate with interment to follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery in the Land Between the Lakes.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Saturday, April 30th, 2022 at the funeral home.
