Robert Latta Hall

Robert Latta Hall, 86 of Calvert City, Kentucky passed away on Wednesday, April 30th, 2025 at his home.

Robert was born in Gilbertsville, Kentucky on June 7, 1938 to the late Christy M. Hall and Hazel Latta Hall. He worked as a supervisor at Air Products & Chemicals for more than forty years. Robert also spent time cattle farming and was a veteran of the United States Army. He enjoyed being outdoors working in the garden, playing golf, hunting, fishing and boating. More than anything, he loved spending time with his family, especially all his grandchildren and greats who called him "Baba." Robert was a member of Calvert City Church of Christ where he served as an elder for over 20 years.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Dorthy M. Hall; two sons, Jeff Hall (Cheryl) of Benton, KY and Matt Hall of Gilbertsville, KY; two daughters, Alicia Winters (Robert) of Ashland City, TN and April Galloway (Nathan) of Mayfield, KY; one brother, Jerry D. Hall (Betty) of Gilbertsville, KY; brother-in-law, William Hamilton of Calvert City, KY; six grandchildren, Jared Hall (Kensey), Kristen Riley (Quentin), Jake Hall (Ellie), all of Calvert City, KY, Kayla Beth Winters and Chloe Winters, both of Ashland, TN and Sophie Galloway of Mayfield, KY; seven great-grandchildren, Jude, James, Graham, Eli, Jenna, Cohen, Jepp and one great-grandson, on the way.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister-in-law, Charlotte Hamilton.

A funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Monday, May 5th, 2025 at Calvert City Church of Christ with Lance Cordle and Jared Green officiating. Interment will follow at Calvert City Cemetery, Calvert City, KY.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Sunday, May 4th and from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Monday, May 5th at Calvert City Church of Christ, 4625 US Highway 62, Calvert City, Kentucky 42029.
