Robert Martin Jackson

Robert M. Jackson, age 93, of Hardin, KY passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, June 26, 2025. He was surrounded by family as he ascended into the arms of Jesus.

Robert was born October 7, 1931, in Altona, Missouri to John and Junie (Schiller) Jackson. He proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He went on to work at Armco Steel in Kansas City, MO until he retired in 1986.

He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, camping and traveling, and he also enjoyed quilting. He served as a deacon for the Aurora Baptist Church for many years. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather, and he enjoyed spending time with his family.

He is survived by his loving wife of 70 years, Olive; two siblings, Betty Jackson of Missouri and Clyde Jackson of Missouri; two daughters and two sons, June Coppock and her husband, Steve of Arizona, Jeff Jackson of Louisiana, Robin Gardner and her husband, Tim of Kentucky and Richard Jackson of Virginia; three grandchildren, Jeffery Jackson and his wife, Kaylen, Natasha Lyles and her husband, Aaron, and Stephen Coppock; six great-grandchildren, Alexandra and Elijah Jackson, Cambelle, Cameron and Liam Lyles, and Evelynn Coppock.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Junie Jackson; three brothers, Lloyd, Deannie, and Eddie Lee Jackson; five sisters, Joanne Jackson, Phyllis Belk, Marie Bauer, Bernice Talley and Dorothy Chaney; and one grandchild, Lauren Gardner.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, June 30, 2025, at Collier Funeral Home. Dennis Manley will be officiating. Burial will follow at Murray Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.

A visitation will be held from 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM on Monday, June 30, 2025, at Collier Funeral Home.
