Sandra Gossum

Sandra Gossum, 76 of Benton, KY died on Sunday, March 26, 2023, at Oakview Nursing & Rehab Center in Calvert City, KY.

She was a cashier at Wal-Mart for 25 years and was a member of New Zion Baptist Church. 

Born Sunday, May 26, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Johnny English and the late Juanita (Swatzell) English. 

She is survived by her daughters, Dawn Henderson husband David of Benton, KY, Shannon Schroader husband Eric of Dexter, KY, Stephanie Brown husband Brad of Symsonia, KY; brothers, Dennis English of Benton, KY, Carl English wife Faye of Benton, KY; grandchildren, Ashley Kincade husband Byron, Dalton Henderson wife Taylor, Alex Lampley husband Corey, Maci Brown, Jake Schroader fiance Madison, Dylan Schroader; and great grandchildren, Emersyn, Oaklee, Everleigh, Noah, Reed, Cooper, Colton and Adelyn. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; the father of her children, Thomas Gossum; and her biblical husband, Conard Newton.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, March 29, 2023 at Benton Cemetery with Rev. Mike Littrell officiating.  

Interment will follow in Benton Cemetery, Benton, KY.

There will be no public visitation.
