Sharon Scott

Mrs. Sharon Scott, age 87 of Grand Rivers, Kentucky passed away on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, at the Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center in Paducah, Kentucky.  She was a member of Grand Rivers Baptist Church.  She enjoyed playing Bingo at the Senior Center, reading, being outside, shopping, and cooking for her family, especially her oatmeal raisin cookies.

Born October 10, 1937, She was the daughter of the late Virden Albus and the late Viola (Marshall) Albus.

Surviving are son, Brian Scott of Calvert City, KY, daughters, Paula Malone of Benton, KY and Penny Dukes of Grand Rivers, KY, sisters, Marilyn Scott of Sterling, IL and Yvonne Snapp of Kuttawa, KY, grandchildren, Michael Taunton, Tanara Babcock (Wes), Tad Scott, Dustin Scott, Thesha Jones (Allen), Casey Brown (Chris), Cody Scott, Josh Scott (Tara), Hunter Malone (Trinady), Jacob Scott, Jerrica Stamps (Nathan), Crystal Helm (Leslie), and 24 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Keith Scott, sons, Jeff Scott and Barry Scott, and brothers, Norval Albus and Raymond Albus, daughter in law, Brenda Scott,  grandson, Chad Scott, and 1 great grandchild she will meet for the first time.

A Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 3, 2025 at Collier Funeral Chapel located at 211 West 5th St. Benton, Kentucky 42025 with Rev. Mark Gill officiating.

Visitation will be held between the hours of 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 3, 2025 at Collier Funeral Home.

Interment will be held at a later date in the Oak Knoll Memorial Park, Sterling, IL.
