Terri Lee Nelson-Morey

Terri Lee Nelson-Morey, 69 of Gilbertsville, Kentucky passed away on Thursday, August 6, 2026, at Tristar Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee.

Born Tuesday, February 12, 1957 in Chicago, Illinois, she was the daughter of the late Billy Brown and Audrey Bright  Brown. Terri was a Certified Medical Assistant with Renal Care Associates. 

Surviving are her husband of 22 years, Terry Morey; her mother, Audrey Bright Brown of Gilbertsville, KY; sons, Stephen Nelson of Ottawa, IL and Ryan Nelson (Felicia) of Colfax, IL; daughters, Carly Buczek (Peter) of Oswego, IL and Nicole Stenzel of Hopedale, IL; grandchildren, Christian Price, Anna Nelson, Aiden Buczek, Kameron Nelson, Ella Buczek, Emelyn Buczek, Alyssa Horn, Peyton Horn, Elzie Carle, Autumn Nelson, Molly Nelson and Nolan Nelson.

She was preceded in death by her father.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 14, 2026 at 3 PM Collier Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jared Baker officiating.

Visitation will be Friday, August 14, 2026 from 1 PM until 3 PM at Collier Funeral Home and Cremation Services, located at 211 West 5th Street Benton, KY 42025. 270-527-3141.
