Thomas M. Davis

Mr. Thomas M. Davis, age 101 of Calvert City, Kentucky passed away on Sunday, April 19, 2026, at Calvert City Convalescent Center in Calvert City, Kentucky.  He was a retired supervisor for GAF and was a veteran of the US Navy.  Mr. Davis was a member of First Baptist Church of Calvert City.

Born Wednesday, July 2, 1924 in Calvert City, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Thomas Davis and the late Altha (Faith) Davis. Thomas was a co-owner and operator of the Drug Store in Calvert City from 1949-1954. He was a charter member of the Calvert City Golf and Country Club, a die hard UK and St. Louis Cardinals fan.

Surviving are daughter, Patricia Ann Halicks (John) of Paducah, KY, sons, David Davis (Paula) of Benton, KY, Mark Davis (Valerie) of Mayfield, KY, grandchildren, Kelly Lauren Halicks, Summer Leigh Davis, Lawson Stephen Davis, and great-grandchildren, Davis Johnson, Maverick Barnes, Theo Davis Barnes, and one more on the way in June 2026.

He was preceded in death by his parents, first wife, Betty June (Ham) Davis, second wife, Linda Joyce (Pickens) Davis, and sister, Anna Smith.

A Funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM on Wednesday, April 22, 2026 at First Baptist Church of Calvert City, Rev. Dr. Jim Ewing officiating. 

Interment will follow in Calvert City Cemetery, Calvert City, KY with Military Rites.

Visitation will be held between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 22, 2026 at First Baptist Church of Calvert City.
