Threessa Davis

Threessa Davis, 87 of Benton, Kentucky passed away on Tuesday, February 3, 2026 at her home.

Threessa was born in Murray, Kentucky on October 19, 1938 to the late Alfred and Elsie Overby.  She managed the Benton Elementary School Cafeteria for many years before retiring.  Threessa was a member of Church Grove United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her daughter, Tina Blevins of Calvert City, KY; two grandsons, Jake Blevins (Cheyanne) of Atlanta, GA and Bryan Blevins of Calvert City, KY; three great-grandchildren, Addy Blevins, Lucy Blevins and Reese Blevins.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas E. Davis; son, David E. Davis; daughter, Margaret Kay Davis; son-in-law, Richard Blevins; brothers, Jerry and Bobby Overby; and her parents.

A funeral service will be at 1:00 PM on Saturday, February 7, 2026 at Collier Funeral Home with Rev. Samantha Hall officiating. Interment will follow at Temple Hill Cemetery, Almo, KY.

Visitation will begin at 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Saturday, February 7, 2026 at Collier Funeral Home, 211 West 5th, Benton, Kentucky.
