Anthony "Tony" C. Whybark, 77  of Benton, Kentucky passed away on Tuesday, April 7, 2026 at the Anna Mae Owen Hospice House in Murray, Kentucky.  

Tony was born in Aniston, Missouri on March 31, 1949 to the late William "Bill" Arthur Whybark and Sudie Colson Whybark.  He worked at General Tire for 31 years as a tire builder and helped his brother with construction.  Tony enjoyed spending time hunting, fishing, camping and traveling with his wife.  He was a longtime member of Union Ridge Baptist Church where he served as a deacon, Sunday school teacher and song leader.  Tony currently attended Flint Baptist Church in Almo.    

He is survived by his wife, Pamela Sirls Whybark; two sons, Brian Whybark (Stephanie) of Kirksey, KY and Brad Whybark (Kristine) of Calvert City, KY; one step-son, Keith Henson (Rhonda) of Benton, KY; two step-daughters, Ashley Stewart (Clay) of Prospect, KY and Adrienne Colson (Jimmie) of Benton, KY; brother, Billy Whybark (Linda) of Tatumsville, KY; eight grandchildren, Kristen Frizzell, Jacob Henson, Jessica Chapman, Olivia Whybark, Adalinn Whybark, Ezra Stewart, Reese Stewart, Nathan Houston; and three great-grandchildren, Cheyenne Henson, Levi Chapman and Hallie Chapman.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Donna Linn Whybark; brother, Johnny Whybark, sister, Debbie Washam; and his parents.

A graveside service will be at 2:00 PM on Friday, April 10, 2026 at Union Ridge Cemetery with Bro. Glen Cope officiating.  There will be no public visitation.
