Vida Grey Cole

Vida Cole, 89, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, May 7, 2025.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Victor Cole; parents, Raymond and Georgia Slayden; as well as several sisters and a brother.

She is survived by her son, Dennis Cole (Dawn); grandchildren, Angelica Prather (Randon), Michael Johnson (Venessia), Brittany Johnson; great-grandchildren, Londyn, Brooklynn, Braelynn, Braxton ,Kenzie, Jake, and Corbin; sister, Jan; and brother, Larry; along with several nieces and nephews.

She was a faithful member of Symsonia Baptist Church. She loved her family and friends "to the moon and back."

A funeral service will be held on Monday, May 12, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Collier Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Clarks River Cemetery. Rev. Rick Miller will be officiating.

A visitation will be held from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM on Monday, May 12, 2025 at Collier Funeral Home.
