Villa Doris Anderson

Villa Doris Anderson, age 86, of Benton, KY, died Saturday, September 30, 2023, at Lake Way Nursing & Rehabilitation in Benton, KY. Mrs. Anderson was a homemaker and a member of Fairdealing Church of Christ. She was the most loving and caring person and mother to every kid she came across. All of her kids and their friends would always gather at their house and she would cook for all of them. Later on the grandkids and their friends would do the same thing gathering there. 

She was the daughter of the late Floy Holley and the late Lottie Dewel (Bloodworth) Holley. She was also preceded in death by her husband: Alton Lynn Anderson; one son: Phillip Lynn Anderson; two brothers: Kenneth & Rudy Holley; and three sisters: Jean Tubbs, Patsy Kay Downing, and Linda Faye Stevenson.

She is survived by three daughters: Libby Anita Steel and husband Russell of Benton, KY, Angela Gail Powell of Benton, KY, and Laura Leigh Riley and husband Todd of Benton, KY; two sons: Terry Douglas Anderson and wife Debbie of Benton, KY, and Stanley Anderson of Benton, KY; eleven grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren.  

Arrangements are being handled by Collier Funeral Home, Benton, KY. There will be a private family service held at Fairdealing Cemetery, Benton, KY.
