Virginia Sue Lape

Virginia Sue Lape passed away peacefully at Commonwealth Senior Living-Memory Care in Manassas, Virginia, on September 4, 2025 She was 93. Sue was born on August 12, 1932, in Benton, Kentucky.

Sue was preceded in death by her grandson, Foster Grant Lape. She is survived by her three children, Lydia Ware (John), Lon Lape, Jr. (Lanita) and Lynne Hertzog (Zivan); numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Graveside funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 13, 2025 at Wilson Cemetery, Bro. Wesley Morehead officiating.
