William Eugene Lloyd

Mr. William E. Lloyd, age 89 of Calvert City, KY passed away on Thursday, July 24, 2025, at his home.  He was a retired machinist and veteran of the US Army.

Born Thursday, September 19, 1935 in Olmstead, IL, he was the son of the late Elmer Lloyd and the late Myla (Sanderson) Lloyd. 

Surviving are son, Richard Lloyd (Kimberly) of Roseville, MI, daughter, Sheryl Lloyd of Calvert City, KY, grandchildren, Ashley Lloyd, Jacob Lloyd, Joshua Lloyd, Emma Borders, 9 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild on the way.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Norma (Barrett) Lloyd, 6 brothers, and 4 sisters.

A graveside funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, July 27, 2025 at Fooks Cemetery with Bro. Joel Frizzell officiating.

Interment will follow.
