William Hamilton

William E. Hamilton, 87 of Calvert City, Kentucky passed away on Thursday, October 1, 2026, at Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center in Paducah, Kentucky.

Born Monday, February 20, 1939, he was the son of the late Maurice Hamilton and the late Maymie Barrett Hamilton. William was a retired chemical operator for B.F. Goodrich in Calvert City, KY. He was a long time member of Calvert City Church of Christ. 

Surviving are daughters; Kim Kinsall (Barry) of Benton, KY and Kelly Mitchell (Mickey) of Nashville, TN; sister, Karen Chavis (Jay) of Calvert City, KY; grandchildren, Katherine Smith, Frankie Smith, Blake Mitchell (Ellie), Morgan Mattox (Adam), Mason Mitchell, Max Chambers, Jesse Kinsall and Jillian Kinsall and great grandchildren, Hollis Brown, Emmaline Brown and Colter Mitchell.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Charlotte Ann Morefield Hamilton.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 5, 2026 at 1:00 PM at Calvert City Church of Christ with Lance Cordle officiating.

Burial to follow at Fooks Cemetery.

Visitation will be Monday, October 5, 2026 from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Calvert City Church of Christ.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in William's memory to Mercy Health-Compassus Hospice, 225 Medical Center Drive, Suite 203, Paducah, KY 42001.
