Alice Baxter, 71, of Kuttawa, Kentucky, and a former Benton, Kentucky resident of 24 years, passed away on Sunday, December 21, 2025, at River Bend Retirement Community in Kuttawa.
Alice was born in Halls, Tennessee, on July 13, 1954, to the late Bob and Helen Acklin Kinninmonth. She was a devoted homemaker who loved caring for her family. Alice meant what she said in her wedding vows, and in sickness, she took care of her husband, who suffered a stroke for fifteen years before his passing, and did so selflessly. She was a devout Christian who attended Zion's Cause Church and loved her church family dearly.
In her younger years, she quite enjoyed the outdoors and fishing. She also loved exploring and finding treasures while shopping at flea markets and antique shops. Alice’s kind heart extended to animals as well; she had a soft spot for all of them, especially dogs.
Alice is survived by one son, Kevin Baxter (Brittany) of Benton, Kentucky; one brother, Dale Kinninmonth of West Tennessee; one nephew, Troy Kinninmonth of Union City, Tennessee; and two grandchildren, Brooks Baxter and Neely Baxter.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Jerry Baxter; and her parents, Bob Kinninmonth and Helen Acklin Kinninmonth.

Visitation will be from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM on Friday, December 26, 2025, at Filbeck-Cann Funeral Home of Milner & Orr, 1117 Poplar Street, Benton, KY 42025.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, December 26, 2025, at Filbeck-Cann Funeral Home of Milner & Orr with Bro. Gary Cruse officiating. Burial will follow at Marshall County Memory Gardens.
