Anna “Louise” McCoy, 82, of Benton, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, August 16, 2026, at Mercy Health Lourdes Hospital in Paducah, Kentucky.
Louise was born to the late Franklin and Dortha Vickers Donohoo on June 17, 1944, in Marshall County, Kentucky. She worked for many years in the fitting department for the Florsheim Shoe Factory in Paducah before it’s closure in 1989. She was known for dressing fabulously and always had an added touch of bling. She made sure to always have her hair make up and nails done for every occasion.
Louise’s most notable hobby was her collection of angel figurines and porcelain geisha dolls. She was a woman of faith and attended Lakeview Baptist Church and had previously attended Sugar Creek Baptist Church in Livingston County where she sang in the choir as well.
She is survived by one son, Robert Barlow, Jr. (Mary Beth) of Greenbrier, Tennessee; one step-son, Phillip McCoy (Donna) of Benton, Kentucky; one sister, Dolorse Reed; four grandchildren, Brandon McCoy (Janae), Kayla O’Bryan (Aaron), Sarah Quarles (Brandon), and Denver Edmonds (Hannah); and five great-grandchildren, Colton Edmonds, Crayton Edmonds, Layla McCoy, Emery O’Bryan, and Cade McCoy.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Oldron “Buddy” McCoy; one daughter, Ann Edmonds; two sisters, Leona York and Mary Sue Puckett; and her parents, Franklin and Dortha Vickers Donohoo.

Visitation will be held on Monday, August 24, 2026, from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at the Life Celebration Center of Filbeck-Cann, 1003 Poplar Street, Benton, KY 42025.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, August 24, 2026, at 1:00 PM with Bro. James Oates officiating. Burial will follow at Lakeview Baptist Church Cemetery.
