David H. Wood, 77, of Benton, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, February 19, 2024, at Stonecreek Nursing and Rehabilitation in Paducah, Kentucky.
David was born on September 13, 1946, in Bardwell, Kentucky. He was a Navy Veteran who proudly served our country and was a member of the Disabled American Veterans Organization. He was a homebody who enjoyed watching old westerns and was known for his great sense of humor.
David is survived by his wife, Mary Prince of Benton, and close friend Terry Walker.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A graveside service will take place at Hillcrest Cemetery on Wednesday, February 28, 2024, at 1:00 PM.
