Debora Kay Dudley, 66, of Benton, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, July 31, 2026, at her place of residence.
Debora was born in Sparta, Illinois, on January 17, 1960. She was a gentle and compassionate spirit, evident in her affection for children and animals. This kindness also shone through in the immense love and patience she devoted to caring for her son Michael throughout his life, especially before his passing. Debora was a true homebody, relishing her leisure hours in the cozy embrace of her home. She loved to watch classic Westerns or home improvement shows, all while being watched over by her dog, Daisy. She also enjoyed collecting wheat pennies and had accumulated two mason jars full of those little pieces of history.
Debora is survived by one son, Matthew Dudley of Benton; one daughter, Melissa Pope, of New Mexico; one brother, Frank Wilson; and two grandchildren, Tessa Jones and Kaylie Dudley.
She was preceded in death by one son, Michael Dudley; and her mother, Betty Wilson.
