Dyann (Rogers) Akers, 70, of Benton, KY, passed away on Friday, April 17, 2026, at her home in Benton.
Dyann was born on December 29, 1955, in Louisville, KY to James and Mary Rogers. She attended Bullitt Central High School. She last worked at Camp Currie Fish and Wildlife Camp as a cook for over 20 years before retiring. Dyann was an avid angler and hunter.
She is survived by her husband, Jeff Akers; her two sons, Jason Akers (Jamie Lynn and Jessica) and Jamie Akers (Regina); her four grandchildren, Cameron Shockley, Jackson Akers, Dawson Akers, and Ava Akers; and her brother, Eddie Rogers.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Mary Rogers.
She requested that no services be held in her name.
