Joyce Vickers Bowerman, 88, of Gilbertsville, Kentucky passed away on Sunday, November 5, 2023.
Joyce was born on May 4, 1935 in Gilbertsville to the late Herman “Carter” Vickers and Mary “Lorene” Hurst Vickers.
She is survived by her son, Barry Bowerman (Debbie) of East Limestone, AL; one grandson, Alexander “Alex” Bowerman of Meridianville, AL; her son-in-law, Marty Armstrong of Mayfield, KY; one sister, Virginia “Gin” Vickers Prince of Benton, KY; one brother, Martin Vickers (Delores) of Chickamauga, GA; and several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
She was preceded by her husband, Edgar “Red” Bowerman; one son, Ralph Bowerman; one daughter, Becca Bowerman Armstrong; her sister, Frances Vickers Reed Meeks; and her parents.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Saturday, November 11, 2023 at Life Celebrations of Filbeck-Cann, 1003 Poplar Street, Benton, Kentucky 42025.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, November 11, 2023 at Life Celebrations of Filbeck-Cann, 1003 Poplar Street, Benton, Kentucky 42025. Burial will follow at Lakeview Cemetery.
