LaDonna Cochrum Boaz, 77, of Benton, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, August 14, 2026.
LaDonna was born on January 12, 1949, in Mayfield, Kentucky, to the late Chauncy Cochrum and Angie McKinney Cochrum. Her family and her faith remained a constant throughout her life. She regularly attended Christian Fellowship Church until her health made it harder for her to attend. As a stay-at-home mother, she devoted herself to raising her son, Thomas, and helping with all the responsibilities around the house. Ladonna’s kind heart and friendly personality made it rare for her to meet a stranger, and she always enjoyed helping others every chance she could.
While at home, she always loved cooking and baking for her family. In her spare time, she enjoyed making rounds to all the local yard sales, searching for great deals or simply meeting new people. More than anything else, LaDonna was an amazing mother and grandmother who loved spending time with her grandchildren and taking every opportunity she could to play with them and be together as a family.
She is survived by her son, Thomas Mac Boaz of Clinton, Kentucky; one brother, Robert Cochrum (Melissa) of Mayfield; four grandchildren, River Cunningham, Birdee Brooke Cunningham, Dottie Kurt Cunningham, and Kristen Boaz Cunningham (Austin); and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Mack Donald Boaz; one sister, Imogene Cochrum; one grandson, Rivee Cunningham; and her parents, Chauncy Cochrum and Angie McKinney Cochrum.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Wednesday, August 19, 2026, at the Life Celebration Center of Filbeck-Cann, 1003 Poplar Street, Benton, Kentucky 42025.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, August 19, 2026, at the Life Celebration Center of Filbeck-Cann, with Bro. Jimmy Boaz officiating.
