Larry Wade Springer,56, passed away on Sunday, June 15, 2025, in Benton, Kentucky.
He was born to the late Larry Springer and Peggy Ellison on July 9, 1968, in Manila, Arkansas.
For nearly two decades, Larry dedicated his professional life to Heartland Motors, where he not only worked but fostered numerous enduring friendships.
Beyond his professional life, Larry poured himself into his love for music and entertaining. He loved all kinds of music and, in previous years, would hold weekly jam sessions for all to come and enjoy with his talented family. He not only hosted these events at his home, but he also cooked for all those in attendance. His most favorite event was the 4th of July extravaganza he threw yearly. One hundred plus guests were known to come for the fireworks showcase.
His presence was an instant guarantee of a good time. He was known for his great sense of humor. His humor also expanded to heckling those he loved. A good time was always had while in his presence. He was a member of Truth and Light Church of Calvert City.
Larry is survived by his wife of 40 years, Janet Springer of Calvert City, Kentucky; one daughter, Janel Bonds (David) of Benton; two sons, Cody Springer and Ethan Phelps, both of Calvert City; sister, Gail Avington of Arkansas; brother, James Choate of Paducah, Kentucky; several other sisters and brothers; and one grandson, Dakota Bonds.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Larry Springer and Peggy Ellison.
