Michael D. Dabolt, aged 76, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 26, 2025, at Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Facility in Paducah, Kentucky.

He was born on December 11, 1948, in Buffalo, New York, to the late John H. and Margaret Roach Dabolt. Michael's journey through life was marked by dedication, skill, and a warm, engaging spirit that touched everyone he met.

A proud Vietnam Veteran, Michael served his country with honor and distinction in the Army. After his military service, he channeled his discipline and work ethic into a successful career as a project manager in construction. His expertise and leadership were instrumental in overseeing projects on three of the largest construction sites in the United States.

Michael's interests were as rich and varied as his professional accomplishments. He loved woodworking and not one to sit still, Michael also had a love for dancing, often being the first to hit the dance floor with his wife Cindy.

Those who knew Michael would describe him as having a big heart, jovial, and faith-filled. His ability to fix almost anything was only surpassed by his capacity to forge lasting friendships and his unwavering commitment to his faith. His favorite saying will live on with his memory,” every little thing is going to be alright.” No matter the struggle, Michael kept the faith and stood the course.

Michael is survived by his wife of almost 42 years, Cindy L. Dabolt of Benton, Kentucky; one daughter, Melanie O’Daniel (Travis) of Kuttawa, Kentucky; two sons, Michael D. Dabolt II of Cadiz, Kentucky and Shawn Dabolt (Jessica Nichols) of Benton; one sister, Marge Davis of Tonnawanda, New York; one brother, Tom Dabolt of North Carolina; Grandchildren, Christian, Haylee, Christopher, Tristan, and several others as well as several great grandchildren.
