Michael Francis Gavner, 63, of Benton, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, March 4, 2024, at his residence.
Michael was born in Princeton, Kentucky, on January 8, 1961, to the late Francis Joseph Gavner and Shirley Kennedy Gavner. He was a graduate of Murray State University, where he received his bachelor’s degree. He proudly served his country and was a Veteran of the United States Navy, and spent many years working for the United States Postal Service. He had a huge love of music from all genres and, over the years, had acquired quite a collection. In addition to collecting music, he also enjoyed collecting Hot Wheels cars.
He is survived by his sister, Katie Francescon (Tim) of Louisville, Kentucky; his niece, Shelbie Francescon; his nephew, Ben Francescon; and one aunt, Kathryn Kennedy Fuqua of Orlando, Florida.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Francis Joseph Gavner and Shirley Kennedy Gavner; and one niece, Maggie Francescon.
