Patricia Ann Wadsworth, 80, of Benton, KY, passed away Monday, May 12, at Marshall County Hospital.

Born February 15, 1945, to Louis and Dorothy (Dowdy) Holley, Patricia attended Paducah Beauty School, but found her true calling as a cook.  Every dish she created was created with love and affection, whether it was a simple scrambled egg sandwich or an entire holiday meal.  If you visited her house, you would never leave hungry. If you did, it was your own fault. She retired from Western Kentucky Navigation as lead cook on the riverboat, The Don File.

Patricia is survived by her children, Dwayne (Robin) Wadsworth of Benton, Kentucky, and Delana (Lynn) Crowder of Gilbertsville, Kentucky; grandchildren Brandy (Justin) McLeod, Justin (Nicole) Wadsworth, Jessica (Steven) Stone, Abbygayle (Michael) Bolen, Milly Wadsworth, Lily Crowder, Noah Crowder, and James Crowder; and great-grandchildren Macy McLeod, Madyn McLeod, Brooklyn McLeod, Kinlee Wadsworth, and Braylee Copeland.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Dorothy Holley; one son, Troy Scott Wadsworth; two grandsons, Dalton Walker and Jordan Scott Wadsworth; and her best friend, Peggy Ann Parrish.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 5:00 PM on Sunday, May 18, 2025, at Christian Fellowship Church in Benton, Kentucky, with Bro. Ritchie Clendennen officiating. The family will receive visitors from 4:00 PM until the time of the service.
