Phillip Howard, 74, of Symsonia, passed away on Saturday, November 12, 2022 at Baptist Health in Paducah, Kentucky.

Phillip was born in Graves County on January 6, 1948 to his late parents, Alvin Ray and Deltrice Pauline (Kaler) Howard. He was a member of the Clarks River Baptist Church and the Eagles Club. Phillip was known as a car guy and quite enjoyed looking at them. He loved riding his four wheeler and cleaning it up afterwards to look brand new.

Phillip started as a car salesman and later became sales manager at Pete Gunn Auto Sales, where he later retired. Phillip was also very fond of his dog, Frosty, who came to him not once but twice as a stray and was his companion for eleven years.

He is survived by his beloved friend of over 38 years, Sherry Clark of Symsonia, and two cousins, Dana Spears of Benton and Brenda Counts of Symsonia.

Phillip was preceded in death by his parents.

A private graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 19, 2022 at 12:00 pm at Clarks River Cemetery with Shane Rust officiating. 

There will be no public visitation.
