Robert "Bobby" Ross, 45, of Benton, Kentucky, passed away on August 5, 2025, at his place of residence.
Bobby was born on November 28, 1979, to his father, the late George Ross, and his mother, Kathy Allison, in Travis AFB, California. Professionally, Bobby was accomplished and versatile. He navigated various careers as an appraiser, supply chain technician, and deckhand, and did so with pride and dedication. He was known for his easy-going nature, but also for his quick wit and humor. Bobby was always happy, and his smile was infectious, always lighting up whatever room he was in. Bobby was a talented artist and could draw portraits that looked just like people he knew. He was also a collector of knives and other unique weaponry, such as swords and nunchucks. Bobby was a member of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church and attended faithfully until his condition progressed and he was no longer able to attend in person.
Bobby is survived by his mother, Kathey Allison of Benton, Kentucky; one niece, Jenna Gronau of Indiana; and one nephew, Jacob Gronau of Metropolis, Illinois.
He was preceded in death by his father, George Ross.
