Sandy Lampley Robinson, 75, of Benton, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, November 5, 2026, at Stonecreek Health and Rehabilitation in Paducah.
Sandy was born on April 10, 1951, in Paducah, Kentucky, to the late Owen Lampley and Lorine Hill Lampley. She was a hardworking woman who lived a life filled with faith, kindness, compassion for others, and a deep love for her family.
After graduating from North Marshall High School in 1969, Sandy began working at Blackhawk Bakery in Paducah, where she discovered her talent for baking and decorating cakes. Her caring nature and desire to help others eventually led her to a career in healthcare, where she dedicated 30 years of service as a pharmacy technician at Lourdes Hospital before retiring. Although her career took her in a different direction, Sandy never lost her passion for baking and decorating cakes. She continued sharing her talents with friends and family throughout her life, often making special occasions even sweeter with her beautiful creations.
Sandy's faith was an important part of her life, and she was a longtime member of Mount Moriah Primitive Baptist Church. Outside of work, she enjoyed spending time doing the things she loved. A talented seamstress, Sandy enjoyed sewing and creating special items for her friends and family. She also had a creative spirit and loved expressing her artistic side through a variety of arts and crafts. Above all else, Sandy treasured her family. She was a loving and devoted mother, sister, and grandmother who found her greatest joy in the time spent with those she loved. Her kind heart, generous spirit, and the many special memories she created will forever be cherished by all who knew and loved her.
Sandy is survived by her daughter, Leigh Ann Kinnis (Demetrius) of Benton; two brothers, Darrell Lampley (Kim) of Smithland and Craig Lampley (Dorrie) of Calvert City; two grandchildren, Kobe Wyatt (Ashley) and Mariah Wyatt, both of Benton; several nieces and nephews; and several great-nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Owen Lampley and Lorine Hill Lampley.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Sunday, November 8, 2026, at the Life Celebration Center of Filbeck-Cann, 1003 Poplar Street, Benton, Kentucky.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Sunday, November 8, 2026, at the Life Celebration Center of Filbeck-Cann, with Dr. Matt Lampley officiating. Burial will follow at Fooks Cemetery.
