Stanley Noel Anderson, 67, of Benton, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at his place of residence.
Stanley was born on August 10, 1958, to the late Alton and Doris Holley Anderson in Murray, Kentucky. He was a paramedic for 34 years for the Marshall County Ambulance Service, from which he retired. He was a man with many irons in the fire, always staying busy. After his retirement, he began a new career as a carpenter for Shawnee Steam Plant. He was also a cattle farmer for many years and perfected the skill of brick masonry. There wasn’t anything, it seems, he couldn’t do.
Stanley reminisced on the “old days” and had great nostalgia for the times when the world moved at a slower pace, gas was fifty cents a gallon, and technology wasn’t really a thing. He loved gardening and planned his garden meticulously every Spring. His greatest love above all else, though, was his grandchildren.
Stanley is survived by one daughter, Ashley Anderson of Benton; two sisters, Angela Powell and Libby Steele, both of Benton; one brother, Terry Anderson of Benton; two grandchildren, Eric Saxton and Alissa Saxton; and one great-grandson, Brewer Noel.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Phillip Anderson; and his parents, Alton and Doris Holley Anderson.
