Steven Pombert, 85, of Benton, Kentucky passed away on Monday, September 12, 2022 at his home.
Steven was born in Bradley, Illinois to the late Louis and Edna Martin Pombert. He was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose Naperville Lodge #1290. Steven spent many years working as a union house painter for the Painters District Council #30 before retiring. After his retirement he and his wife, Corinne Longwell Pombert, moved to Kentucky so the two of them could enjoy fishing and boating on Kentucky Lake. One of his other past times that he enjoyed was sitting on the front porch of his house bird watching.
He is survived by his wife, Corinne Longwell Pombert; two daughters, Leslie Benwell of Plymouth, Indiana and Elizabeth Karas of Argos, Indiana; one son, Charles Pombert of Bloomingdale, Illinois; two steps sons, Timothy Lass and Richard Lass; one sister, Judy Norris of Lady Lake, Florida; and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one brother, David Pombert; and his parents.
There will be no services scheduled for Steven Pombert.
