Terri Lee Jolley, 68, of Calvert City, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at Baptist Health in Paducah, Kentucky.
Terri was born on May 11, 1957, in Canton, Ohio, to the late David Duncan and Patricia Gott Duncan. Terri graduated from Marshall County High School in 1975. After graduating, she attended college for a few years and shortly after, met the love of her life, Craig Jolley. The couple eventually married and began their journey together, raising three sons and one daughter along the way.
As a devoted stay-at-home mom, Terri cherished raising her children and caring for her family. With her husband, Craig, working as a Chemical Engineer, she would jokingly refer to her role as a wife and mother as the Domestic Engineer for her family. Her faith and family were her top priorities. A long-time member of Southland Baptist Temple, she also dedicated twenty years to teaching Sunday School. Terri was blessed with many talents and abilities that she enjoyed doing in her spare time. Being a very gifted and skilled artist, she loved painting pictures to share with her family and friends. Additionally, she was an accomplished seamstress, crafting clothing, dresses, and personalized aprons that she enjoyed giving as gifts to many people throughout the years.
Terri had a profound love for the outdoors; whether she was gardening, fishing, foraging for wild mushrooms, or camping with her family, she enjoyed being in nature with her loved ones by her side. Above all, Terri found joy in caring for others. She was a remarkable wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who filled her family’s lives with love and affection. Her life was a portrait of love and thoughtfulness, and her memory will be cherished and celebrated by all who were fortunate enough to have known her.
Terri is survived by her husband of 43 years, Craig Jolley; one daughter, Jaime Abell (Dan) of Boaz; two sons, Michael Kerry Jolley (Christina) of Albuquerque, New Mexico and Matthew Korey Jolley (Katy) of Calvert City; her two sisters, Beth Duncan of Houston, Texas and Martha Anastasiou of Paducah; two brothers, David Duncan (Lori) of Calvert City and Jim Duncan (Wanda) of Calvert City; seven grandchildren, Dawson Jolley (Madeline), Carter Abell, Jaxson Abell, Mac Beller, Deklyn Jolley, Isaac Steele (Alex), and Colter Jolley; and one great-granddaughter, Evelyn Jolley.
She was preceded in death by her son, Bryan Christopher Jolley, and her parents, David Duncan and Patricia Gott Duncan.
