Terry Ray York, 64, of Benton passed away on Monday, September 19, 2022 at home.
Terry was born on May 11, 1958 in Benton, Kentucky to Don and Nancy Waid York. He later married the love of his life, Kathy Wilson York, and the two of them spent 43 wonderful years together creating and raising their family. He and Kathy always loved vacationing and going on cruises together any chance they could. Terry was also very much an outdoorsman that loved spending his time going hunting, training his rabbit dogs, and especially getting the opportunity to go fishing. He spent many years working for R&R Piping as a master plumber and operator and he was a member of New Harmony Baptist Church. More than anything else, Terry loved spending time with all of his grandchildren spoiling them and sneaking them candies when he could.
He is survived by his wife, Kathy Wilson York of Benton; two daughters, Stephanie Butler (Cory) of Benton and Chaney York (Anthony) of Benton; one son, Brad York (Heather) of Benton; two sisters, Donna Angle of Benton and Susie Groves (Lyndall) of Benton; one brother, Denny York (Lisa) of Benton; three grandchildren, Madison Butler, Londyn York, and Lincoln York; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Don York.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, September 21, 2022 at New Harmony Baptist Church with Bro. Scott Penick officiating. Burial will follow at New Harmony Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, September 20, 2022 at New Harmony Baptist Church.
