William "Mac" Tucker, age 86, of Benton, Kentucky, passed away on March 29, 2024, at Marshall County Hospital.

Mac was born on February 8, 1938 in Marshall County to his late parents, William "Ed" and Grace Beatrice Tucker. He attended Draughon's Business College and Murray State University. He walked proudly through life guided by his unwavering faith, actively serving his church, Unity Cumberland Presbyterian, as a Sunday School Superintendent and later as an Elder for over four decades. His early career saw him excel in car sales at Parker Ford in Murray, before becoming part-owner. Not one to rest on his laurels, Mac sold his stake in the dealership to become co-owner of Leon Riley Ford in Benton. His entrepreneurial drive didn't stop with car sales, Mac developed much of the Draffenville area with his brother Terry, that included Gateway Shop-O-Rama, Food Giant, and Draffenville Plaza, in addition to residential subdivisions.  His leisure time was spent enjoying the links at Benton and Calvert City Golf Courses. Mac and Donna also cherished their time as snowbirds, splitting their moments under the sun between Kentucky and Florida. His passion for sports was clear to anyone who knew him; a dedicated Kentucky basketball and St. Louis Cardinals baseball fan through and through.

He was survived by his beloved wife of 68 years, Donna June Tucker; three daughters, Vicki (Doug) Wynn of Benton, Kimberly (Robert) Ham of Benton, and Renee (Bob) Ridley of Pompano Beach, FL; one brother, Terry (Phyllis) Tucker of Draffenville; six grandchildren, Heather (Dan) Hall of Benton, Nathan (Heather) Wynn of Benton, Ryan (Jess) Ridley of Seattle, WA, Hayley Fountain of Benton, Blake (Hannah) Fountain of Murray, Robyn (Matthew) York of Benton; five great-grandchildren, Georgia Hall, J.T.
