Thomas C. “Tommy” Bealmear, age 74, of Princeton, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, at the Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center in Paducah.

Tommy was born on August 13, 1952, in Princeton, Kentucky. He was a lifelong member of the Princeton community and a member of Christ Tabernacle Church.

Tommy was a commercial truck driver for more than 30 years, a career that suited his love for being behind the wheel. Driving a truck wasn’t just a job to Tommy—it was something he truly enjoyed. When he wasn’t driving, he loved spending time outdoors, especially fishing and hunting. One of his favorite places to visit was Wolf Creek Dam, where he enjoyed the scenery, the water, and time spent doing what he loved.

More than anything, Tommy loved his family and enjoyed the time he was able to spend with them. Those who knew him will remember his sense of humor, his strength, and the way he cared for the people in his life.

He is survived by his children, Benjamin Bealmear of Princeton, Michelle Grant (Kevin) of Eddyville, and Kelly Dodd of Princeton; his “unofficial adopted daughter,” Kristie (Mike) Lynch; his grandchildren, Devon Odom, Akia Dodd, Bree Grant, Jaxx Dodd, Kaitlyn Morgan, Austin Pierce, Sydney Fulcher, and Sage Grant; and his great-grandchildren, Scarlett and Jeremiah Fulcher.

He is also survived by his brothers, Kenneth W. Caraway of Calvert City and Earl Bealmear (Tammy) of Princeton; his sister, Linda Heidt of Clearwater, Florida; several nieces and nephews; and his very special friends, Irma Brown of Eddyville and Mike and Betsy Mackin of Vermont.

Tommy was preceded in death by his brothers, Donnie Bealmear and Hayden Bealmear; and his sisters, Martha Vickery, Barbara Stephens, Betty Jean Stewart, and Verble Shevalier.

Tommy faced his share of hard times throughout his life, but he kept going. He loved his family deeply and was proud of his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. His family will remember the laughter, stories, advice, and countless memories they shared with him.

He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him.

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 28, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at Goodman Funeral Home, 1032 W. Main St., Princeton, Kentucky. A memorial service will follow at 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home, with Pastor Troy Jent officiating.

Goodman Funeral Home is honored to serve the Bealmear family.
