Bobby Lee Threatt, 100, of Paducah, Kentucky entered his heavenly home on Thursday, February 5, 2026, at his residence in Lone Oak.
Born on October 11, 1925, in Paducah, Kentucky, Bobby lived a life marked by his Christian faith and love for his family and friends. Bobby dedicated many years serving as the choir director at Woodlawn Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Bobby also attended Paducah First Baptist Church and Friendship Baptist Church where he remained a member until his passing.
Bobby worked for Colonial Bend, Paducah Sun, and Paducah Gaseous Diffusion Plant as an escort for uncleared personnel.
Bobby enjoyed playing baseball and softball in his earlier years. He enjoyed coaching his sons in baseball and enjoyed supporting them in whatever sport or activity they were involved in.
Bobby is survived by his loving wife of 70 years, Reba Barnhill Threatt of Paducah, Kentucky; three sons, Tim (Lisa) Threatt of Paducah, Kentucky, Tony (Robyn) Threatt of Murray, Kentucky, and Terry Threatt of Newman, Georgia; two grandchildren, Tucker (Lisa) Threatt and Lee Carol Threatt; and two great grandchildren, Bentley and Archer Threatt.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde Lee Threatt and Effie Jones Threatt; sister, Mary Ethel Baker; and grandson, Jonathan Lee Threatt.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, February 8, 2026, at Hughes Funeral Home in Paducah with Tim Threatt officiating. Burial will follow at Oakland Cemetery in Sharpe.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM to service time Sunday at the funeral home.
