Diana (Smith) Cunningham, 81, of Symsonia passed away on Tuesday, October 28, 2025 at her residence.
Diana was a housekeeper for West Town Inn and a member of Sand Hill Baptist Church in Symsonia.
She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Jerry Cunningham of Symsonia; one son, Frank Cunningham (Betty) of Brookport, IL; one daughter, Juanita Thompson (Ricky) of Symsonia; four grandchildren, Marshall Dowdy (Tiffany), Kyle Cunningham, Christopher Cunningham, and Joshua Morris; two greatgrandchildren, Mya Dowdy and Gaige Dowdy; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank Oscar Smith and Gola (Walton) McNeill.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, November 2, 2025 at Hughes Funeral Home in Paducah with Bro. Max Anderson officiating. Burial will follow at Burkhart Cemetery in Symsonia.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Saturday, November 1, 2025, and from 12:00 Noon to service time Sunday at the funeral home.
