Donald "Big Duck" Farmer Sr, 71, peacefully went home to be with his wife on Friday, January 23, 2026.
Donald worked primarily as a concrete finisher, but he was a master of all trades, always building and fixing anything for anyone.
Donald was a devout Christian, knowing him was to know his love for the lord and his faith in the word.
He believed family is everything and leaves behind a grand legacy of loyalty and love.
Donald is survived by 2 children, Donald "Lil Duck" Farmer Jr of Marshall County and Misty Coble (Seth) of Marshall County; 3 brothers, Darrel Willis of Paducah, Jack Farmer of Paducah, and Anthony Farmer of Marshall County; 2 sisters, Darlene Diehl of Livingston County and Sharon Wimberley of Paducah; 4 grandchildren, Kelsy Hawk (Tyler) of Kevil, Chase Matteson of Marshall County, Braden Coble of Marshall County, and Lilly Coble; many cousins, neices, nephews, and friends.
Donald is preceded in death by his wife of 47 years, Pam Farmer; his parents Elnora and James; his sister Brenda and his brother Jeffrey.
A celebration of life will be held at Hughes Funeral Home in Paducah, KY on Thursday, February 5th, 2026. Visitation begins 4pm with a service at 6.
