Edwin Cadle Wallace, 88, of Paducah passed away on Monday, December 15, 2025 at Providence Pointe Healthcare in Paducah.

Edwin was a retired home builder, having worked with his brother, Don Wallace, for Wallace Building Co. He worked with other companies but was self-employed most of his working career. He was also a veteran of the US Army, where he served in the Vietnam War.

He is survived by two sons, Craig Wallace and Kent Wallace (Chrissy), both of Reidland; two brothers, Preston Wallace (Kathleen) of Atlanta, GA, and John Wallace of Symsonia; two sisters, Judy Dyer of Blairsville, GA, and Nancy Jones of Calvert City; three grandchildren, Katie, Carson, and Kenzie Wallace; two step-grandchildren, Harlan and Hayden Thomas; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Hallie Colleen (Rudolph) Wallace; parents, James Kendrick Wallace and Nola V. (Willie) Wallace; three sisters, Louise (Wallace) Sullivan, Betty (Wallace) Moyers, and Sue (Wallace) Suggs; seven brothers, Clifton Wallace, James Wallace Jr., Edward Wallace, Don Wallace, Joe Wallace, Larry Wallace, and David Wallace.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, December 20, 2025 at Hughes Funeral Home in Paducah with Pastor Jim Wright officiating. Burial will follow at Oakland Cumberland Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Sharpe.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM to service time Saturday at the funeral home.
