Jack grew up fifth of his nine siblings in DuPage County, Illinois and rural White Cloud, Michigan. Jack and Shirley were married in 1946 and started a family while he worked at a meat locker. With a growing family he changed careers and became a plumber raising his family for many years in a home in Ontario/Hanover Park, Illinois. That house that he built was a magnet for kids with a pool table, fantastic tall handmade backyard swing, sand box, and a swimming pool. Jack would spend weekends with his family camping, fishing, serving youth as a baseball coach, visiting relatives, serving his kids, family and others. In 1971 he packed up the family still at home, and moved to DeBorgia, Montana with his sister June (Charlie) Antos and family where they purchased and ran Mountain Home Nursery Tree Farm. Any down time was with family and friends riding horses, snowmobiles, and always dancing. He was that fan that loved watching Lawerence Welk. In 1975 he returned to plumbing in Missoula, Montana. He continued as a Union Plumber in Montana and Illinois until he retired at the age of 62. Jack then spent several years in Oregon and Kansas, still golfing, fishing, reading, and dancing before finally settling in Kentucky near his youngest brother Wayne T Brady. He connected with a wonderful lady on the dance floor, Robbye Ford. They spent his final years dancing, golfing, fishing, laughing, playing cards, telling stories and a few clean or off color jokes in Mayfield. He often told anyone he met ”People spend a lot of money to look as good as I do!!” Jack was sometimes authoritative, sometimes unbendable but always supportive, ready with a smile, and leaves behind a large family who will miss him greatly. Jack was a great father and will be truly missed.
