Jerry T. Brown, 77, of Boaz, passed away on August 31, 2026, at Mercy Health Paducah.
He was born October 18, 1948, to the late Claude and Gwen Montgomery Brown. He served in the Army and worked in Carpenter Local 357, and in the heating and air conditioning business. He was a Kentucky Wildcat fan and was always willing to give a helping hand to anyone in need.
He is survived by his sister, Connie Rodgers (Walter); nephews, Greg (Julie), Jason (Tracey), and Kenny (Rachel), Richard Galloway (Judy); nieces, Gwenette Sesler, Suzanne Galloway (Michael), Phyllis Galloway (Joe); and several cousins, great nieces, and great nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Claudette Williams, Jean Galloway, Reva Sesler, and Neva Thompson; great nieces, Tamara Sesler and Amy Thompson; and great nephew, Everette Hudson.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, September 4, 2026, at Hughes Funeral Home in Paducah with Rev. Michael Suiter officiating.
Visitation will be held from 12:00 noon to service time Friday at the funeral home.
