Joe Robert Ford, 78, of Paducah, passed away on Friday, September 18, 2026, at Parkview Nursing and Rehabilitation in Paducah.
Joe retired from lawn care and returned to working part time for the City of Paducah. He was a member of Free Spirit Biker Church in Paducah, as well as the Sons of the Confederate Veterans and Mechanized Calvary.
He is survived by two sons, Joe William Ford (Tonya) of Paducah and Harley Shafer of Ledbetter; three daughters, Maria Hines (Terry) of Paducah, Tiffany Capps (Clint) of TN, and Hailey Shafer of Paducah; one bonus daughter, Patsy Waldridge of IN; three brothers, Douglas Ford, Anthony Ford, and Daryll Ford, all of Paducah; three sisters, Connie Tucker of Ledbetter, Sandra Ford of Paducah, and Treasa Jones of TN; fourteen grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Leo Franklin and Joel Evelyn (Perry) Ford; one son, Jason Ford; one daughter, Lori Nuckolls; one granddaughter, Emilie Ford; two brothers, Bruce Ford and Keith Ford; and one sister, Kathryn Thompson.
A memorial service will be held at 12:00 noon on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, at Hughes Funeral Home in Paducah with Bro. Dennis Lawrence officiating.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 am to service time Wednesday at the funeral home.
