Mary Lou Sanderson

Mary Lou Sanderson, 101, of Paducah passed away at 8:32 PM on Tuesday, October 3, 2023 at Rivercrest Assisted Living in Paducah.

She was a housewife and a Graves County dairy farmer alongside her husband, Molton Sanderson, for over 40 years. Together they raised six children. 

She is survived by three daughters: Phyllis Jones (Steve Bauer) Lady Lake,  Fl., Carla Spears (Geoff) Murphysboro Il, and Cynthia Sanderson (Neil Archer) of The Villages, Fl, one son: Duane Sanderson (Melinda) of St. Louis, Mo.; eight grandchildren: Cassie Barone (Dan), Trish Futrell (Mike), Peyton Jones, Jason Spears, Phillip Spears, Keaton Osborne (Anne), Shannon Aderholdt and Stacey Sanderson, nine great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Mrs. Sanderson was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, a daughter Sharon Sanderson (Doug Town) and a son, Daryl Sanderson (Candie), her parents Thomas and Ethyl Hughes, three brothers and two sisters. 

Her children wish to express their gratitude for the care, devotion and love that Trish Futrell gave their mother over the last 2 years. 

Visitation will be held on Friday October 13 at 11:00 to 12:30 at Hughes Funeral Home in Paducah. 
Graveside services will follow at 1:00 PM on Friday at Highland Park Cemetery in Mayfield.
