Opal Lee Garner, 100, of Paducah, passed away at 2:48 pm on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center in Paducah.
Opal was a homemaker and attended Eastside Holiness Church in Paducah.
She is survived by two sons, Jerry Don Garner (Rebecca) of Melber and Randy Wayne Garner of Paducah; one daughter, Phyllis Young (Joe) of Paducah; four grandchildren, Jeff Garner, Chad Garner, Michelle Cavanaugh, and Joann Keenan; three great grandchildren, Brandon Garner, Braxton Blalock, and Brey Blalock; six great great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Chester Odell Garner; parents, Loyd Lee and Lee (Estes) Keeling; one daughter, Robin Wynn Walker; one granddaughter, Kirsten Burnett; two grandsons, Jeremy Don Garner and Justin Lee Garner; and several brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, at Hughes Funeral Home in Paducah with Joe Young and Rev. Wayne Hicks officiating. Burial will follow at Fooks Cemetery in Marshall County.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 am to service time Tuesday at the funeral home.
